Guru Purnima Celebration

Guru Purnima is a tradition dedicated to all the spiritual and academic Gurus, who are evolved or enlightened humans. It is celebrated as a festival in India, Nepal and Bhutan by Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. Gurupurnima is also known as Vyasa Purnima for it marks the birthday of Veda Vyasa. The term ‘Guru’ derives its meaning from the combination of two Sanskrit words – “Gu’ meaning Darkness, and ‘Ru’ meaning “A person who eliminates Darkness. Guru Purnima is a grand day that is significant to revive the Connection. the students and the teachers.


This year Gurupurnima and the Birth anniversary of Lokamanya Tilak celebrations were held at Smt.Bhagubai Changu Thakur vidyalaya on 23 July 21 our Principal mam, garland the photo frame of “Lord “Duttatray” and “Lokamanya Tilak”.
